Therapy for Teens in Hermosa Beach & the South Bay
In Hermosa Beach & online throughout California
Your teen used to talk to you. Now it's one-word answers, a closed door, and a phone that never leaves their hand. Or maybe they're doing everything right on paper (grades, sports, college plans) and quietly falling apart under the pressure. South Bay kids face a lot: high expectations, social media, competitive schools, and a constant sense that they're behind. Therapy gives them a place to say what they can't say at home.

How I Help Teens
Anxiety, panic, and perfectionism. ADHD, focus, and executive functioning. School and college-application stress. Low mood, self-esteem, and body image. Friendships, relationships, and social media. Identity, including LGBTQ+ teens. Family changes like divorce and blended families. I'm a mom of three and I don't use a "therapist voice." Teens can tell when an adult is being real with them.

Working With Parents
Teens need privacy to open up, and parents need to know their child is okay. I'll explain how confidentiality works at the start, and I check in with parents regularly, with your teen's knowledge, so you're not left guessing. When it helps, we'll bring the family in together.

In-Person or Online
In-person in Hermosa Beach, an easy drive after school from Mira Costa, Redondo Union, and South Bay middle schools, or online anywhere in California.

Fees
$250 per 50-minute session. I'm a private-pay, out-of-network provider. Many PPO plans reimburse part of the fee, and I provide superbills each month. Book a free 15-minute consultation to talk through whether I'm the right fit for your teen.
